Easy Wireless Site Survey

Put an end to Wi-Fi Dead Zones

TamoGraph Site Survey can test the overall signal strength while simultaneously testing the throughput performance at every location automatically. Simply upload a floor plan or map to begin logging and testing the WLAN.

Wi-Fi dead zones can be caused by high levels of interference from non Wi-Fi transmitters. TamoGraph conveniently supports spectrum analysis capture with a Wi-Spy to create a snapshot of interference in the 2.4 or 5 GHz bands to help you locate interference.

Visual Results of a Job Well Done

The reports generated by TamoGraph Site Survey are the proof your end user needs to have the confidence in your WLAN implementation. The reports include a signal strength overlay highlighting that each area in the building was verified to meet the coverage requirements. TamoGraph also runs performance tests throughout the duration of the site survey to help you design an incredibly fast modern WLAN with ubiquitous coverage.

Design WLANs for End Users

Designing a WLAN with TamoGraph is quick and simple. It doesn’t matter if you are designing for masic or High Density use, TamoGraph can handle any WLAN specifications. Enter the End User’s Requirements into the site survey application and as you walk around it will visually highlight the areas that do not meet their needs.

Wi-Spy DBx

Wi-Spy DBx is a full-featured dual band spectrum analyzer that helps you install, analyze, optimize and troubleshoot 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless networks. Whether you're setting up your first wireless network, expanding current wireless capabilities, managing multiple networks, or making a move to 802.11n or 802.11a, MetaGeek's Wi-Spy DBx has got you covered.

MetaGeek's Wi-Spy DBx is a professional-grade spectrum analyzer that comes bundled with Chanalyzer. Chanalyzer displays RF data collected from Wi-Spy spectrum analyzer, showing you the channels and frequencies where Wi-Fi, ZigBee, and other possibly interfering devices are active in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.

Chanalyzer’s Session Manager provides the ability to categorize your spectrum survey captures by room, floor, or site. The Waterfall Navigation feature allows you to jump directly to the point of a recording where RF activity was highest– a huge time savings over linear analysis. A daytime color scheme ensures readability in bright locations.

Device Finder

The Device Finder 2.4 GHz Directional Antenna is just what it sounds like — attach it to the Wi-Spy and point it in any given direction to quickly track down troublesome interferers.

The Device Finder is a 2.4 GHz Directional Antenna that acts as an “RF flashlight” for Wi-Spy. Discovering a transmitting device is as easy as selecting a frequency range in Chanalyzer and following a line. The higher the line goes, the closer you are to finding the source of interference.
